At Estel, specialists in comprehensive installations for high-end hotel and residential projects, we are looking to hire HVAC Installation Helpers for our branch in Barbados.

The selected candidates will join our site team, supporting the specialist technicians in the installation of air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems, reporting to the Site Supervisor for the discipline.

Mission

To carry out the project's HVAC installations to the quality, comfort, safety and schedule standards required in luxury hotel projects, in compliance with local regulations and internal company procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist the specialist technicians in preparing materials, tools and work areas.

• Install ductwork, grilles, diffusers and dampers.

• Install copper refrigerant piping, including brazing and flaring.

• Install equipment: VRF/VRV systems, split units, fan coil units, AHUs and chillers.

• Install chilled water piping and insulation.

• Support equipment start-up and commissioning.

• Support the technician in carrying out work according to drawings and instructions.

• Keep the work area clean and organized, and comply with site safety rules.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in construction or HVAC, or related technical training.

• Ability to use basic hand tools.

• Willingness to learn, proactive attitude and teamwork skills.

• English for on-site communication.

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Desirable

• Technical training (vocational course, CVQ/NVQ or equivalent).

• Occupational health and safety training.

• Driver's license.
