At Estel, specialists in comprehensive installations for high-end hotel and residential projects, we are looking to hire Telecommunications Installation Helpers for our branch in Barbados.

The selected candidates will join our site team, supporting the specialist technicians in the installation of telecommunications, network and low-voltage systems, reporting to the Site Supervisor for the discipline.

Mission

To carry out the project's telecommunications installations to the quality, safety and schedule standards required in luxury hotel projects, in compliance with local regulations and internal company procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist the specialist technicians in preparing materials, tools and work areas.

• Install containment and cable tray for low-voltage systems.

• Pull, terminate and label structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A).

• Install and splice fiber optic cabling.

• Assemble and dress data racks and communications cabinets.

• Install Wi-Fi access points, CCTV, access control, public address, intercom and TV/IPTV systems.

• Support the technician in carrying out work according to drawings and instructions.

• Keep the work area clean and organized, and comply with site safety rules.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in construction or telecommunications installations, or related technical training.

• Ability to use basic termination tools.

• Willingness to learn, proactive attitude and teamwork skills.

• English for on-site communication.

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Desirable

• Technical training (vocational course, CVQ/NVQ or equivalent).

• Occupational health and safety training.

• Driver's license.
