At Estel, specialists in comprehensive installations for high-end hotel and residential projects, we are looking to hire Telecommunications Installation Specialist Technicians for our branch in Barbados.

The selected candidates will join our site team. They will take part in the installation of telecommunications, network and low-voltage systems, reporting to the Site Supervisor for the discipline.

Mission

To carry out the project's telecommunications installations to the quality, safety and schedule standards required in luxury hotel projects, in compliance with local regulations and internal company procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Install containment and cable tray for low-voltage systems.

• Pull, terminate and label structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A).

• Install and splice fiber optic cabling.

• Assemble and dress data racks and communications cabinets.

• Install Wi-Fi access points, CCTV, access control, public address, intercom and TV/IPTV systems.

• Test and certify copper and fiber cabling.

• Read drawings and schematics.

• Keep the work area clean and organized, and comply with site safety rules.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a telecommunications or low-voltage technician.

• Previous experience in luxury hotel or high-end residential projects.

• Experience in fiber optic splicing and cabling certification.

• Ability to work autonomously and coordinate helpers.

• Legally authorized to work in Barbados.

• English for on-site communication.

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Desirable

• Manufacturer certifications in structured cabling or security systems.

• Knowledge of IP networks and basic device configuration.

• Occupational health and safety training.

• Driver's license.
