At Estel Ingeniería y Obra, we are specialists in high-level integral installations for luxury hotels, villas, and residential projects worldwide. We are currently looking for an HR & Administration Assistant to join our team in Barbados. This position is key to supporting both expatriate and local staff, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the success of our projects on the island.

Main responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the HR and Administration departments.
• Collaborate in the coordination of staff accommodation, services, and basic supplies.
• Support in international travel arrangements for new staff.
• Assist with the management of staff allowances, meal cards, SIM cards, and communication tools.
• Maintain records and Excel control models (housing, vehicles, staff allocation, payments, etc.).
• Manage recruitment processes: posting vacancies, coordinating interviews, and handling candidate communication.
• Act as the first point of contact for employees on administrative and HR matters.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations as required by the Head of Administration.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

•  Previous experience in administrative roles; experience in HR or recruitment support will be valued.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Professional, proactive, and adaptable mindset.

Desirable

• Experience in recruitment or HR processes.
• Previous experience in multicultural or international environments.
• Interest and willingness to learn company procedures related to mobility and immigration (training provided).
